From a smaller more intimate gathering to a large dynamic reception, Carpe Diem provides a warm ambiance for friends and family. Located just a few blocks from historic downtown Decatur, this former warehouse space offers four unique rooms to leave a lasting impression.

Main Dining Room
Our main dining room is the perfect spot for larger parties, rehearsal dinners, and receptions. Up to 80 guests may enjoy a selective seated meal from our menu, and even more guest may attend with an open floor buffet.

Small Dining Room
A smaller, brighter version of the main dining room, our small dining room may comfortably seat up to 40 guests. The large windows make it a wonderful spot for an afternoon gathering be it a casual business meeting, a shower or an early brunch.

Bar/Lounge
If you want your guests to relax and mingle, our lounge, with its low lighting and comfortable seating provides a unique, sophisticated atmosphere. The bar/lounge ambiance is ideal for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and memorable conversations.

Patio
In the warm summer months, nothing beats Carpe Diem's patio, arguably the best in Decatur. Up to 70 people can enjoy cocktails and great food in the afternoon sun or the evening breeze.
